What we process
When you prepare a download, Vidporta processes the video URL, chosen format, and quality needed to complete the request. We do not require an account or create a public download history.
Temporary job data
Download jobs use short-lived, encrypted identifiers. They expire automatically and are not designed to identify you. Prepared file links also expire after a short period.
Service and security logs
Hosting providers may record limited technical information such as IP address, request time, browser type, and error details to operate, secure, and diagnose the service. Logs should be retained only as long as operationally necessary.
Analytics and session insights
Vidporta loads Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity on each visit to understand page performance, device and browser patterns, clicks, scrolling, and navigation. When analytics storage is denied, these services operate in their limited no-consent modes without setting analytics cookies. The converter is explicitly masked from Clarity recordings, and Vidporta does not intentionally send submitted video URLs, download titles, job identifiers, or file links as analytics events.
Vercel Web Analytics
Vidporta also uses Vercel Web Analytics to measure page views and traffic sources without analytics cookies. It runs independently of the cookie choice and provides aggregated information about pages, referrers, browsers, devices, and countries. We do not send download inputs or file links as custom events.
Cookies and consent
Analytics and advertising storage default to denied until you choose otherwise. Basic cookieless measurement remains active with storage denied. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity may use cookies or similar storage for fuller cross-page and session insights under their own policies. You can reopen Privacy choices on any page and change your selection.
Advertising
If advertising is enabled, the selected ad provider may use cookies or similar technologies under its own policy. Consent controls must be enabled where required before personalized advertising is served.
Your choices
You can continue with only necessary storage, change your analytics choice, clear site data in your browser, or leave without creating an account. Do not submit private or access-restricted video links. Review the downloader safety guide before using any online converter.
